The yellow trail starts in Piwniczna-Zdrój, runs through Hala Pisana, Jaworzyna Kokuszczańska, Wilcze Doły, and ends in Nawojowa. Do you want to know what awaits you? Setting out from Piwniczna-Zdrój to Hala Pisana, we leave behind these beautiful, highest Polish mountains. This is what we look at when we turn around every now and then while hiking. However, it is impossible to underestimate the charm of Piwniczna. The picturesque town delights with its expanse of greenery and rocks. When we reach Polana Jesionowa, next to us there is the Szałasy Jarzębackie glade, which amazes us every time with its rich vegetation. This is a perfect place for a souvenir photo with the eastern, southern and western panorama.**

After leaving Hala Pisana, we follow the red trail towards Jaworzyna Kokuszczańska. This is where you can stop and admire the chapel and the Bethlehem nativity scene, created by Józef Grucel from Ochotnica Dolna. Right behind it, at the junction of trails, we choose the green trail leading to Wilcze Doły. Look around carefully, we will change the trail to blue, turning right we go down to Nawojowa, where our hiking ends.

PIWNICZNA ZDRÓJ – RYTRO TRAIL

Piwniczna Zdrój –Niemcowa –Kordowiec – Rytro (yellow, red). The next yellow trail on our list runs from Piwniczna-Zdrój through Niemcowa, Kordowiec, to Rytro. Due to the final part of the trail, we recommend using it in spring and autumn, because in case of ice, the steep descent may cause problems.

How does a hiking trip start? Nice and pleasant. Small hills, beautiful views of old buildings, barns and old agricultural equipment. After a 2-hour walk along the yellow trail from Piwniczna-Zdrój to Niemcowa, we reach the peak 963 m above sea level, from which Potok Młodowski and Podskalnianka start their run. These stunning areas are part of the Poprad Landscape Park. While here, be sure to visit the cottage near Niemcowa, which hides something magical. The former shepherd's hut hidden in the mountains will allow you to regenerate and prepare a meal in a previously lit oven.We have to take care of the wood and water ourselves, so we can feel like we did many decades ago. It has its charm, doesn't it? After a moment of respite, it's time for the next stage. Reaching the peak of Kordowiec (762 m above sea level), we change the trail to red and take it to Rytro. This small village is located on the main tourist trail of the Beskid Sądecki Mountains. If you still have the energy, you are about a 30-minute walk from the ruins of the castle that gave the town its name. It's time to end the hike. Head towards the first buildings, along which there is an asphalt road leading to the junction of trails at the railway station.

SAILOR TRAIL – PIWNICZNAŻegiestów – Wierchomla – Hala Łabowska – Hala Pisana – Piwniczna route very long: 10:15h!

To be carried out in the summer season (long day). Żegiestów, and especially Żegiestów-Zdrój, is a health resort that is coming back to favor after years of stagnation. During the next meeting in this place, it is worth seeing: what "Wanda's Stone" is, tasting mineral water, walking along the ornithological nature trail, finding where the Orthodox church is. The blue trail towards Bacówka nad Wierchomlą starts near the Żegiestów-Zdrój railway station (ends in Leluchów). It leads to a forested peak: Pusta Wielka and then towards Wyżne Młaki, which begins with the Chapel of St. Wendelin. Our eyes will certainly remember the wide panorama of the Radziejowa Range and the Beskid Wyspowy. About a 30-minute walk along the ridge will lead you past: upper chairlift station of the Wierchomla Ski Station, branch of the black trail to Wierchomla Mała.**Its culmination is Bacówka nad Wierchomlą. It is worth visiting this shelter and commemorating your stay and putting a stamp in the book... Perhaps not everyone knows that, apart from the well-known GOT PTTK badge, stamps can also be collected for: badge: "Edwarda Moskała's Bacówka" (verification: Waldek, Gazda Bacówki PTTK Jaworzec, Wetlina) and Mountain shelters (Tomasz Biesik – collected for your own satisfaction). The shelter serves delicious, simple food, and among its unique ideas: they invite you to Jurta SPA. The blue trail climbs through Polana Gwiaździsta to Runek. This is an important junction of trails. From here to Hala Pisana, we will walk along the Main Beskid Trail (GSB). Its red marking, like a magnet, attracts those who want to walk over 500 km of the Polish Carpathians from Ustroń to Wołosate. The route from Ustroń to Krynica is particularly historic because its marking was completed already in 1930.Walking towards Łabowska Hala, looking at the eastern ridge, we will pass near the Barnowiec and Uhryń reserves, which were established (the first in the Sądecczyzna region) by Adam Hrabia Stadnicki. This man owned estates around Nawojowa and Szczawnica. He became famous as an outstanding forester, an upright man and a great patriot. Shelter on Hala Łabowska is another place to get stamps. From here you can also shorten the trip and go down the yellow trail to Łomnica-Zdrój. The red trail leads through Wierch nad Kamień. Nearby there is the Bear Cave, where hibernating bats have been documented. On the route, in many places along the Runek - Hala Pisana route, we will see monuments and obelisks commemorating the fallen Sądecki Couriers. In the area of Hala Pisana - at the Bukowina Pass, "our" yellow trail leads to Piwniczna. A nice Beskidy path leads to this charming health resort. After returning to the city center, it is worth visiting Piwniczna: visit the Regional Museum, walk around John Paul II Square, taste mineral water in the Spa Pump Room, get to know new places thanks to a visit to the Tourist Information.
