TOY MUSEUM IN KRYNICA-ZDROJ
The Toy Museum in Krynica-Zdrój was officially opened in the summer of 2010 in July. It is one of the branches of the Toy Museum in Kudowa-Zdrój, which began its activity in 2002. It exists thanks to the desire to maintain the family tradition of cultivating the cultural heritage of traditional toys. The museum's resources are estimated at over 3,000 exhibits from various eras and parts of the world. There you can find toys from films, optical toys, tin toys, home theaters, LEGO exhibitions, as well as a school classroom with over 50 years of experience. The museum is adapted not only for visiting children, but also for their parents. The main idea of the Toy Museum is to present in an interesting way their history and the changes that have accompanied them over the years. Exhibits from the Toy Museum in Krynica-Zdrój are also part of exhibitions in various regions of Poland and abroad.GALICIAN TOWN
It is an architectural and urban complex that includes copies of buildings that we can no longer find anywhere because they do not exist or their technical condition cannot be transferred, and thanks to the technologies of the time they can be faithfully recreated. It is part of the extremely well-known and impressive Sądecki Ethnographic Park, opened to the public in 2011. The facilities are a series of buildings that function as commercial, service and catering places. They refer to towns from the period of Galician autonomy, but they meet all technical and sanitary requirements. A town in Galicia is a creative alternative to a traditional museum because it allows the visitor to experience emotions through direct contact with history, and thus better remember and understand it. This place is willingly used for outdoor events, regional fairs or thematic events.

It owes its existence to regionalists and cultural animators from Podegrodzie, who made their private collection available to the Museum. The exhibition includes the promotion of the Lachów region, including agriculture and crafts (blacksmithing, weaving, pottery), but also contemporary folk art. There you will find traditional costumes from Podegrodzie dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries, which delight with perfect decorations on corsets, caftans and gowns. It is located in the picturesque "Romanówka" building in the center of Krynica-Zdrój, at Boulevard Dietla on the Promenade. The artist's achievements are estimated at several dozen thousand works, but Nikifor sold most of them for next to nothing at a time when poverty was a very common phenomenon. Patients staying at the Krynica Sanatorium were very eager to buy the painter's watercolor works, which slightly improved his financial situation. The Nikifor Museum has 77 original works by this artist in its collection, which depict stunning landscapes of the Beskid Mountains with churches and railway stations, military scenes and offices. The Museum also houses Nikifor's workshop, which includes wooden boxes containing brushes, papers, prayer letters and the artist's original stamps, which he once used to sign his works. Photos of the artist himself, publications from Poland and abroad, posters and catalogs are also part of this exhibition.

REGIONAL MUSEUM IN STARY SACZThe initiator who influenced the creation of the Regional Museum in Stary Sącz was Józef Paszkiewicz, who was one of the founders of the Stary Sącz Lovers' Society. He donated numerous souvenirs to the museum that he had collected throughout his life. It is worth noting that the Regional Museum complex also includes the Museum of Father Józef Tischner, who is also the owner of documents presenting the past of the city of Stary Sącz. The exhibition about Father Józef Tischner was first made available to visitors in 2004, and since 1999, visitors have had the opportunity to admire memorabilia related to John Paul II. The Regional Museum in Stary Sącz also has a special history, because in 1795 there was a fire in which the market square was burned down and the current museum building was the only one saved. MAGICAL PLACEMUSEUM OF MILLING, TECHNOLOGY AND RURAL CRAFTS
The museum was established in 2016 thanks to Michał Winiarski, who recreated a historic settlement on his grandparents' farm. The water mill that was located in this area before World War II served local residents, and during the war it was a shelter for partisans. Józef Winiarski, who was a miller during the war, was a deputy radio instructor and trained communications teams. In the meantime, he also produced flour for the partisans. In 1960, he mechanized the mill and sawmill. In 2010, the farm was placed under conservation protection due to its preserved ethnographic values. The collections include objects and devices referring to milling techniques, furniture, equipment, and numerous craft items. Demonstrations using traditional milling equipment are organized.

SĄDEC ETHNOGRAPHICAL PARKThe Nowy Sącz Ethnographic Park is extremely popular among both tourists and residents of the Nowy Sącz region. In this open-air museum of folk architecture, opened in 1975, there are historical memorabilia of ethnic and ethnographic groups such as Lachy, Pogórzanie, Górale, Lemkos, Germans and Carpathian Gypsies. The open-air museum covers an area of 20 hectares and presents the everyday life of the people and the building style of the time. In the middle of the rural development there is a manor house, a noble park and an access avenue. Many of the park's objects are original, dismantled in the original village, transported, preserved, and then reassembled to form farm complexes. The Ethnographic Park shows the folk culture of the Nowy Sącz region, taking into account the property, social and professional status. Inside the buildings there are old furniture, home accessories, clothing and paintings, as well as spiritual and religious objects.
STAR BAŚŃ STRENGTH IN GRYBÓWStara Baśń is a wonderful reconstruction of a fortified town from the Middle Ages, which links its history with the Tatar-Mongol invasions on Polish lands. As legend has it, the stronghold was created by Bolko the Wrathful, who, during the third Mongol expansion in 1287, stopped the attack of the troops of Genghis's descendant - Khan. The faithful reconstruction of the town is an initiative that aims to connect the past with the present, giving us the opportunity to travel back to the times of our ancestors. The town was created out of passion for the history and culture of the region, where patriotism and love for the homeland are emphasized. The main idea was to create a project that would support the development of the region and highlight its potential. Local artists can present their works there or get creative inspiration. Stara Baśń in Grybów won the prestigious Travelers' Choice 2020 award on the Tripadvisor tourism platform.

MAIN BUILDING
The Main Building is the current seat of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, located in a long-built building that once housed the Austro-Hungarian Bank. The building was designed by Teodor Hoffmann. It underwent a thorough renovation, which highlighted its advantages by modernizing the staircase and the main hall. The representative room is intended for variable exhibitions, concerts and various types of meetings. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of Nowy Sącz and includes paintings by the Nowy Sącz painter Bolesław Barbacki. Thanks to the use of facilities for disabled people, the museum can be visited by people in wheelchairs.
PIENIŃ MUSEUMThe Pieniny Museum owes its existence to the local community of the Pieniny Branch of the Society of Lovers of Highlander Culture and Art, who initiated the collection of exhibits relating to the culture and history of the Pieniny region already in the 20th century. The museum changed its location several times. The first location of the museum was the building of the Guest Manor in Szczawnica, but three years after its opening there was a fire that destroyed a significant part of the exhibits. The second place where the museum was located until 2012 was the "Palace" villa. Currently, the Museum is located in the building of the Border Guard station in Szlachtowa. It is a source of knowledge about the past of the Pieniny highlanders, preserved in house emblems, folk souvenirs and examples of highland stands at that time.
